There are some things that you just can't get out of ads that you can get here. Talking to real people that have been to a lot of the trips and tours that you're thinking about. That kind of first hand knowledge can be priceless...

I try to post as many pictures on here as much as possible. I think that my pictures are different than other sites because I just don't post about all the places where tourists go in Hawaii. I post what I see in Hawaii, I see people that live there. That people really do live and work there and tourism is valuable. I read the local newspaper each day as my home page on my laptop.
If you every thought of retiring and moving to Hawaii, I think that this site would be very helpful. I can tell you that moving to Hawaii is not as easy as hopping onto a plane. Oahu itself has three governments trying to run one island and it shows. Everyone is stepping on each others toes but still trying to protect what each one of them has.
Yes, it is still a wonderful and magical place to visit but Hawaii has a lot more than what tourists see. It has beautiful homes and some wonderful shopping malls. It's all about the love of Hawaii.

This was from my first trip this year. When it rains,this mountain forms many waterfalls at once.

Wow! Those waterfalls are breathtaking. I wish I had those in my backyard. I feel like I'm torturing myself looking at these beautiful paradises on Earth as I sit in my home trying to stay home from the cold.
