why are people evil, i had a customer be very rude to me , yet i was ok with her, she got the manager to talk with me about it , why cant they just get a life , made me feel horrible yet i did nothing , i wish i had enough money to set myself up in a buissness, dont think i spelled that right

Lorna-
I am sorry that someone so inconsiderate to do that to you.
One never knows what goes through peoples minds. Whatever was going
through hers will come to haunt her some day when somebody lashes back at her.
I spent most of my working years in one form of customer service or another.
The last couple of years before retirement, I spent much of my time helping out in
the key shop. One of my duties was to help wait on customers (faculty, staff and students)
at the service window. In peak times, it was not uncommon to have well over one hundred
customers a day. For the most part, everyone was very patient and understanding as we filled
their requests. At times when someone would re-appear at the window two or three times, with
the complaint that the key we cut would not work in their new office door and also that they had
better things to do than run back and forth to the key stop. It was about at that time that I wanted
to ask if they looked up at the door number to see if they were trying to get into their own office......
but didn't. There was usually a reasonable explanation so happy that I didn't mouth out at them.

Sounds like fun. Thinking about a warmer place to be coz it's cold here in Nebraska. I can't wait for spring. This has been a winter that's not nice to anyone in this country. I still wish I could find my ruby red slippers coz Scotty doesn't hear me when I ask to be beamed up to a warmer place. TJ

Hey Lorna,

Sorry to hear about the rude customers. I know where you are coming from. I've had my few occasions of having to plow into someone... only when they were extremely rude and even hostile. I've gotten much better over the years of dealing with people like that. I used to plow into them as soon as they did to me. But I guess you can say I've learned to be more patient. It is difficult though, isn't it?
